A Fashion Podcast No.63. What will go down in the history (and what will not) of the 2021 Emmy Awards

A Fashion Podcast No.63. What will go down in the history (and what will not) of the 2021 Emmy Awards

The great night of American television displays its British accent to celebrate series such as The Crown or Ted Lasso and actors such as Olivia Colman, Josh O'Connor, or Michaela Coel.

In this new episode of A Fashion Podcast, we stay up late to review the highlights of the 73rd edition of the Emmy Awards. After last year's gala, the first 100% virtual in history, the United States Television Academy Awards have returned to normal with a red carpet and a ceremony like before.

Anya Taylor-Joy (Lady's Gambit ), Emma Corrin ( The Crown ), or Michaela Coel ( I Could Destroy You) have been three of the stars who have given the most game thanks to their bet to outwit bad luck by wearing yellow.

In addition to her designs by Dior, Miu Miu, and Christopher John Rogers, respectively, the edition has left us some outfits that passed without pain or glory, a few clones of Angelina Jolie, and the virality of claw-nails.

In the second part of the chapter, we review all the winners, the most emotional moments, and the series that we must point out in our list of essential fiction. The Crown, in drama, and Ted Lasso, in comedy, were the big winners of the night. Among the winners who deserved it the most, were Kate Winslet, Michaela Coel, Jason Sudeikis, and Gillian Anderson.
