Interview With Montego Germany Jr

Montego Germany Jr is an artist from the Dallas, Texas area pursuing his dreams.  He is driven to be better and inspire others along the way from his work. Passionate, determined, and a dreamer since day one, Montego Germany Jr has his goals prioritized. “Right now, I’m working on a few different projects at once in music, art, architecture. I’m looking to come out with a rock/pop tape before the release of an album on creating called live from planet three which is about Montego Ramón arriving to planet earth. Along with that I’m creating my first exhibition for the public for a series called Afro girl. And right now in architecture I’m working on an assembly hall and auditorium”. By staying consistent, the artist, Montego Germany Jr keeps himself occupied in the industry and being intentional has helped him succeed in his endeavors and make quality work for his fans. Despite the difficulties, Montego Germany Jr, is a go-getter, and keeps pushing with his music and business and has a lot coming up. “What is inspiring me right now to consistently work on my endeavors is just the thought of becoming a better me, being better for my family and providing more for them and wanting to make a positive impact on the world before I leave this earth.” 

How have you overcome struggles to be where you are at now?

I think I have overcome struggles to be where I’m at now through just sheer dreaming and believing that one day I will be in that place where I have it all, and the clothes the shoes the house the cars the women the awards and I’m still cherishing the things that actually matter do you know like my family taking care of myself and creating a legacy for the youth day is going to take my place so that they can have a better future.

What piece of advice would you want others to take back from the work you display?

Just go for it, people are going to say whatever they want to say and how they feel, but in the end, I think you’ll regret not doing the thing that you wish you would’ve did. So go for now find away and just keep going keep trying keep believing and take the lesson. But most of all don’t be afraid to dream and dream big.

What do you have coming up right now that you want others to know about?

So, what I have coming up is the release of lie from clinic you a project I created with my good friend my homey my brother Killboy the artist out in LA there’s going to be some videos on releasing some Murch coming out that will be accessible to the public the gallery an exhibition I’m doing is coming soon for Afro girl. The following after that I’m dropping this rock/pop tape. Then I’ll be doing a mini tour you know just solo Dolo in it by myself to like the southern coast starting at the end of the first week in June then I’ll have more merch and a Videos following that.

Who are the most influential people in your life?

Some of the most influential people in my life for you know my parents probably, my friends, and then the greats. To name a few mostly a lot of basketball players in artists, like Michael Jordan Kobe Bryant LeBron James Dwyane Wade KD Ray Allen Klay Thompson Stephen Curry Carmelo Anthony, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Jay Z, Rick Ross, Drake, Gucci Mane, future, wiz Khalifa, T.I., Albert Einstein, Michio Kaku, Neil Degrasse Tyson, Napoleon hill, Steve Harvey, ET to hip-hop preacher, Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, Steve Harvey, Kevin Heart. And there are so many others I could name you know that really implanted the belief in me that I can be the things I never thought I could be.

Montego Germany Jr’s objective is to keep it honest and make a name for himself with his work. mentions that his consistency and collaboration with others has helped him achieve great things. The art of his job, his hardships have inspired him to strive for even greater achievement and his love for his family motivates him daily and gave him humble beginnings. “The continual process of getting over myself and my feelings and my own shit so that I can produce creatively, so that I can feel, and find what calls to my heart. Operating with partners and discerning my own energy and what’s best for myself and for the business. Another one is focusing my mind and thoughts on the results I want, like just allowing myself to be in the moment to be fully present in doing this small task here because it’s going to be a brick in the house that we’re building and every break is important in the process and should be laid with intention.”

As a result of the outbreak of COVID-19, some artists had considerable difficulties in 2021; varied laws established at the local and federal levels prevented many events with large crowds, including concerts and festivals, from taking place. As a result, the number of chances for artists to demonstrate their abilities was drastically curtailed as a result of this decision. The emphasis of the Montego Germany Jr’s concentration is now on continuing to pursue his art and business profession in order to build his already strong foundation even further than it is already. Montego Germany Jr has his sights set on the prize and realizes that in order to be successful, one must not only invest in oneself, but also in those who will invest in you in exchange for their efforts on his behalf. In the audience, he is motivated at the thought of making a difference not just in his endeavors, but also in the rest of the community.
