Interview With Artist and Event Set Up Attendant, DMO

D’Maric Moore, also known as “DMO”  is an artist and Event Set Up Attendant from Duncanville, Texas who now resides in Irving, Texas. Patient, calm, and goofy,  he is on the right path toward success. DMO stays on the scene with major collaborations and behind the scene presence with upcoming artists. DMO has been working with up and coming Dallas talent, Vito Rone, and DMO who stays determined and devoted in his work, has all around talent that has followed him for years. Becoming more serious, being motivated to his work, DMO is on a mission to make it to the top.

“I've actually been in the process of going back to school to learn business marketing and to also get my foot in the door of becoming an A&R. Vito has dropped an album recently on June 2nd called ‘Transition”, with the project out we look forward to traveling to another state for him to perform! I would say just to stay persistent in each and everything you do. also to always go in depth with what you want to do. Don't think basic or surface level, always think deeper of unique creative ways to do something. You have to really push your mind to a different mindset.”

DMO is a well-rounded artist and collaborator who refuses to give up even when things don't go as planned. His inspiration has levels, and his music has always been there as a driving force in his life.

Where are you from?

I'm from Duncanville, Texas. I grew up most of my life over there, it was interesting living in a small town, that has so much sports history.

What is it creatively that you are working on?

Right now I manage an artist by the name of Vito.Rone. My goal for him is to just get the world to know the powerful messages he leaves in his music. He leaves a very soulful impression on the ears with his unique melodic flows. I try my very best to push his music, using any platform possible at my disposal. With not having a team or major labels behind me to help with marketing. I and Vito take matters into our own hands and try our best to advertise his music.

What is inspiring you right now consistently to work on your endeavors?

Just seeing progress in general with Vito’s career inspires and motivates me to keep going hard for Vito. On April 2nd, we went to Brooklyn, New York because Vito got booked for a performance up there. That was such a life changing time for the both of us. The people of New York were very friendly and greeted us Southerners with open arms. He had a great time performing in such a vibrant environment full of other talented artists. It just felt good for him to represent Dallas and in all the south as well.

Who were the most influential people in your life?

The most influential people in my life are definitely my dad and my cousin Dante, they are both so poised and calm and somehow seemed to have more balance in life. That's something I strive for everyday in my life. My cousin whos @ on instagram is s3_theproducer produced an entire EP for Vito called  “Pre-Game” he is the mastermind behind the hit song “Big Dawg”.

Even though DMO is devoted to perfecting the art of his music to the highest level, his hardships have made him want to do even better in his business. His projects are staying aligned with his mission in making it to the top in music. “Definitely remaining patient with people in the music industry is very important. It's hard for other people to see a vision if it isn't theirs. Also since it's not their vision they may not care as much about it as you do. Dealing with people who are unprofessional or seem to bead around the bush was frustrating and challenging at first but at the end of the day you just gotta find something else or someone else and keep it pushing.”

Despite issues that are faced in the industry, DMO never let go of his vision. DMO has a goal to make people want to see more of him, which he has already been proving. Putting in the hours of work, commitment, and inspiration both in front of and behind the scenes in the year 2022, he makes a difference in the music business. “Building a brand takes patience and consistency. Everyone wants results fast but in reality that's very far fetched when dealing with business. The biggest obstacle you can face is yourself, so you gotta have a sharp mind and keen self-awareness of yourself. ”

Public relations firm, #Focuseddd continues to emphasize the abilities and motivations of individuals who have a strong purpose for what they do, such as DMO.
