Interview with Artist, Lil Jossph

JUNE 2022- 

Lil Jossph, a musical artist from Texas has been making noise recently. Originally from the Arlington and Mansfield area,  Lil Jossph stays consistent on the scene being ambitious, anointed, and rich in his endeavors. Lil Jossph, who stays determined and devoted in his work, and generates an exciting and unique sound. Becoming more serious, being dedicated to his work, and proving others wrong remains a goal for Lil Jossph, and he is on a mission showing his greatness. 

“Creatively I work on a handful of things. I write scripts and dialogs for a series I created years ago. But mostly my new project "Bat Out of Hell 2" which should be releasing later this month. ‘Bat Outta Hell 2’ is my 2nd studio project and is my most complete project to date. The energy I put into these songs are raw and you feel it. You'll also notice the progression I've gained since the first BOH. This project ain't me rapping, this project is a window into my life story. ” Lil Jossph is a well-rounded artist who refuses to give up even when things don't go as planned. He wants to keep moving forward and use his music to do good things.

"Where are you from?"

Raised in Arlington/ Mansfield, Made in the Funk. (Fort worth)

"What is inspiring you right now consistently to work on endeavors?"

My Son. He will be 8 months old on the 14th. His existence is my inspiration.

"How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?"

It took a whole lot of patience and a whole lot more consistency. Right now i'm currently living what i used to pray for when i was down bad sleeping in a car in fort worth off Ramey. It took trusting myself and cutting off emotions for old friends that don't add value to the brand. It took allowing myself to let go of my pride and not to be afraid to bump my head. It took trusting God's Guidance.

"What piece of advice do you want others to take back from the work you display?"

Fuck them. Whoever is clouding your judgements about what your goal is and how you should pursue it, fuck them. Trust your gut and take notes of the red flags they show you. You might find out later that that's their true color.

"As a business owner, what are some obstacles have you had to overcome to get where you're at?"

Losing friends. Losing Family. Consistently going to jail and almost losing myself mentally. The L’s helped me gain the me of today.

Even though Lil Jossph is devoted to perfecting the art of his music to the highest level, his hardships have made him want to do even better in his business. Lil Jossph, as some would call him, has a goal to make people want to see more of him, which he has already done in the studio. Putting in the hours of work, commitment, and inspiration both in front of and behind the scenes in the year 2022, he makes a difference in the music business. Key explains that lots of important people had an influence in his life. “My mother. She raised 3 boys, lost a daughter, and still made shit happen herself. She sings so She would take me and my brothers on tour when we were younger. That's what made me want to be a entertainer.”   

Despite the passage of time, #Focuseddd continues to emphasize the abilities and motivations of individuals who have a strong purpose for what they do, such as Lil Jossph.
