“Currently I am working on an EP with my homie Brandon Vayne and volume 2 to my manga series Meta Kaizoku. The support I’ve had recently has for sure become the governing, motivating factor behind my drive to keep going. I love to entertain people and all of my hard work is starting to pay off, which is exciting!” LEE THE MYTH is a well-rounded artist who refuses to give up even when things don't go as planned. He wants to keep moving forward and use his music to do good things.

What piece of advice do you want others to take back from the work you display?
I want people to realize that they have the power to be their own hero as well as to see the beauty and the magic of their own lives. Social media makes people compare themselves and their lives to other people and that has always bothered me. I fell prey to that initially when I got into Instagram and when I realized that my life can be as amazing, and exciting as the people that I was following I let all that go. I hope to be living proof that your life can be what you want if you really want it.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
Becoming a published writer with my manga series has really been a new learning experience. Learning how to print my books and get physical representation in local stores has been challenging but I love challenges, especially in the arts. I recently got Meta Kaizoku into 2 stores here in Dallas and I achieved that through networking and working with my amazing illustrator Nicoy Guevarra. Marketing my music has also been challenging but attaining Spotify playlistings has helped tremendously. If you make great music people will support you!
What do you have coming up right now that you want others to know about?
Lookout for my EP titled “Access to Excess” with Brandon Vayne! It’s going to be rad as fuck and I’m really proud of what we have created! I’m also getting into some acting with my homie Ori Evans in which I have a cameo in his web series. It’s going to be so cool to finally see when it drops this year. Talented dude right there! Oh and of course chapter 1 of volume 2 to Meta Kaizoku is on the way as well! I’m really pulling up all the stops and taking things up a notch this go around.
Even though LEE THE MYTH is devoted to perfecting the art of his music to the highest level, his hardships have made him want to do even better in his business. "Last year I had some gastrointestinal problems which pretty much rendered useless along with catching COVID-19. God and the support of my family and friends is what got me through that for sure. Love is the only medicine that can heal which is what I believe God truly is."
Despite the pandemic, LEE THE MYTH never let go of his vision. LEE THE MYTH has a goal to make people want to see more of him, which he has already done in the studio. Putting in the hours of work, commitment, and inspiration both in front of and behind the scenes in the year 2022, he makes a difference in the music business. Key explains that lots of important people had an influence in his life. "I would have to say Bruce Lee, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, and Donald Glover really helped me believe in myself and trust my vision. They made me feel okay with betting on myself which is what it really takes to do this art shit at the level that they have done it."
Despite the passage of time, #Focuseddd continues to emphasize the abilities and motivations of individuals who have a strong purpose for what they do, such as LEE THE MYTH.
