Reign Valcross shows his love for arab culture with some new interesting ink. This style of typography traces back to the 4th century of Iraq. The Arabic Ink right amongst his temple which symbolises “PATIENCE” is called Arabic Calligraphy. This is the artistic practice of the handwriting and symbolism based on the Arabic alphabet. It is known in Arabic as khatt, derived from the word 'line'. Islamic culture isn’t big on tattooing the skin but this art form stands out on any canvas.
In the past year RV has been making a name for himself in many different avenues of business and entertainment. The one they call “Dubai’s Finest” is really living up to the name now bringing back this style writing. Some may say it’s against the culture, others may see it as a pure art form refined for the modern day world. Religion plays a huge factor in most arabs not having tattoos. I personally would love to see more middle eastern tattoos like this to give a different insight on Arab culture.
