How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?
I have always been true to myself and to my music. I never chose to take a shortcut or the easy route I just always tried to get through whatever was in my path and be consistent in everything that I do.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
Not knowing anything about the music businesses before me and the my producer DopeTheMusic started and also the fact that most people in the industry are not willing to help you out. You have to be determined and be self sufficient, so that means learning to do a lot of things yourself . Alot of researching and trial and error.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
Musically, I would have to say Bone Thugs N Harmony and Three 6 Mafia. They started me on my musical path. Since then I’ve learned of so many more artists that are truly very skillful and have evolved within their craft.
TheKingsDragon has his sights set on the right goals and sees only growth for the upcoming future. “Be a leader and not a follower. Make music from the heart and soul.The feedback will be much more meaningful.” Now, with his listeners, he is motivated by the thought of making a difference not just in this world but when he hits the stage to perform and in the studio working hard no matter where he is.
