“Well at the moment I’ve been trying to just keep doing shows and get as much press as I can get and do more music videos and try different genres. I have more music videos coming and features. Y’all would probably be surprised to see me on a song with. Just many surprises to shock the world with. I want to set up the charity basketball game in the future. I should be Attending Austin this year or the next year hopefully.” With a bright future ahead, the unique artist is hardworking with his work, and motivated in the way he goes about making content. Self Made Breezy knows where his passion starts from and speaks more on his inspirations that keep him consistent. “One of the obstacles I had to overcome was dealing with a bunch of jealousy and being around artists that want to see me fail. Just negative energy. Mainly small minded people were the biggest issue. Seeing myself grow as an artist is motivating me but mainly working at a full time job I hate, is what motivates me. I want to make it in the industry so I wouldn’t have to work a 9 to 5 job my whole life.” Self Made Breezy stays consistent and has been seen at shows performing his latest music.
How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?
Well the struggles I dealt with were quite difficult but I seemed to figure it out. We all seem to learn as young adults when we get tired of the same cycle and we just evolve once we learn.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
The most influential people in my life are my mom honestly because she really taught me to be independent and responsible and learned to get things from scratch.
What piece of advice do you want others to take back from the work you display?
Self Made Breezy has his sights set on the prize and sees only growth for the upcoming future. “My piece of advice I can give y’all is to start dropping your music and set a good marketing budget. Another thing would be to not be afraid to invest in yourself. Experiment try different genres and visit other cities. network, be yourself and lastly show love to your supporters.” Now, with his listeners, he is motivated by the thought of making a difference not just in this world but when he hits the stage to perform and in the studio working hard no matter where he is. His self motivation is an inspiration for others, and he stays steadfastly on his journey.
