Francesco Mariano created this program on Max MSP (which can also be exported as a stand alone application for mac/win) which plays the stocks, in this case it describes the real time trend of the Tesla stocks via yahoo's financial site, all in real time. The software connects to the site, takes the values of the title and projects them on the screen with different font sizes, large if the title goes up, small if the title goes down, green screen if it goes up, red screen if it goes down, the trend of the values of the title you play an arpeggiator that plays notes that are higher and higher as the title goes up, darker and lower as the title goes down.
The programming was not very simple, it may seem somewhat rudimentary currently, but Francesco think it has great potential being a mix of real-time interactive audio video that takes the Yahoo's financial data. The programming language used allows the interaction between audio and video while simultaneously taking data from a website. Also, offers great possibilities as with some modifications it is possible to sonify several titles at the same time according to their financial performance.
