Kadence Jones is a singer, songwriter, and performer originally from the Midwest in Saginaw, Michigan, now residing in Dallas, Texas. The artist has a lot of projects to look forward to in the upcoming seasons and is just getting his name out there. From being consistently dedicated to his work as long as he remembers, pushing past adversities, and still pursuing his dreams, Kadence Jones speaks more on his upcoming endeavors. “I am currently recording songs for my EP and in the process I am discovering so many new things about myself musically that I never really opened my mind to so I’ve been experimenting these past few months and just having fun with the music without any expectations or pressure, and I do plan to release my debut EP at the top of 2023.”
Kadence Jones is known to be passionate, hardworking, and fearless when it comes to his demeanor and work ethic. Kadence Jones is on the right path despite the hardships he grew up in and overcame. Kadence Jones has been through a lot, but stays consistent on his current endeavors. “I am inspired mostly by the things I’ve been through and the desire to express those things in my music so that I can be a help or motivation in someone else’s life. Things got crazy and a little out of control over the past 2 years & there were several huge life changes that took place and now that I have picked myself back up and started making moves, I vowed to never stop giving it my all.” Kadence Jones stays motivated. His hardships have made him who he is and Kadence Jones does not stop pushing. Because of his consistent work, he is now an upcoming and talented artist coming out of his city.
What piece of advice you want others to take back from the work you display?
My advice to others would be to be you, be free, be genuine, and always be prepared.
What do you have coming up right now that you want others to know about?
My debut single “The Anthem (Band Song)” is out now and I am working on a music video as well as some live shows around the city.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
Most influential people in my life were the artists I would see on tv. I remember sitting on the living room floor, just fascinated by the music videos and award show performances already having it set in my mind that I wanted to do that too. I spent my entire childhood and young adult years studying artists like MJ, Janet, Usher & Beyonce. Four amazing artists and performers who’s music has lasted for decades and have in one way or another made a difference in not only the industry but the whole world and it is my mission to do the same.
Kadence Jones’s hardships have made him want to keep pushing despite anything. His work remains unique and worthy. “I’ve been homeless, broke, and even depressed at times but the love I have for music has always been my savior and guiding light. The feeling that it gives me is truly like no other feeling on earth. I have always tried to keep a positive outlook on things even when I was at my lowest point because I knew that there was a bigger picture and now I’m starting to see the picture more clear every day.”
