Paul Anthony Diaz Salas, also known as “Playa Purp'' is an artist born in Corpus Christi and raised in Dallas Texas, in the Oakcliff area to be exact. The artist produces a remarkable quantity of high-quality work. Playa Purp elaborates on his planned projects and on how he has been devoted to his career for as long as he can remember, how he has surmounted hurdles, and how he continues to pursue his objectives. “Right now I’m working on music. I'm working on getting a few music videos recorded soon, and getting my music on all platforms. I got a song named ‘Ice Cream’. I am about to drop on YouTube, Reverbnation and SoundCloud. Also my 1st official music video should be dropping soon on YouTube before the year ends.”

It takes money to make money and never give up no matter how impossible you think it is.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
My cousin Anthony Garcia (Crozilla), my parents, and my other cousin Javier Diaz. Without them I wouldn't be who I am today.
At this time, Playa Purp's principal objective is to sustain his musical career in order to build the foundation he has already constructed to an even larger degree. Playa Purp keeps his eyes on the goal, and he is aware that he must do so if he want to attain success. “I have overcome struggles by praying to God and keeping my loved ones around me when times get hard. The piece of advice I want others to take back would be to just be true to yourself and don't care what others think or say about you.” Playa Purp has his sights set on the prize.
