Kevin House, also known as ‘Mr. Hoodfigure or Mr Ghetto Gospel’ by some, is a rising star from the north side Houston , Texas area. In the music business, Mr. Hoodfigure has set his eyes on the top, and is determined to reach there. A leader, workaholic, and motivator, Artist Mr. Hoodfigure has a strong goal: he wants to become more serious and committed to his work.
“My inspiration comes from my past life and the things I have endured. I release my pain, frustration, happy times, and sad. Through my music is sort of a release for me. I am a real introverted type of person so I don’t speak about my feeling only through my music . Also, my family plays a big part of my inspiration as well.”
Even though failure is typical while traveling away from home, not for Mr. Hoodfigure, who is a successful artist and who isn’t one to give up easily. He takes his collaborations seriously. His ambition is to keep going forward and to use his music to contribute to something worthwhile. Following his performance on stage, his goal is to leave the audience with a want to see more of him, which he has done with his many projects out now.
“My new EP (Natural) January 20TH on all platforms. What I want people to take from my music is that I relate to their struggles, their pain and anything they going through. I classify my music as ghetto gospel. Whatever you going through, you can turn on hoodfigure and we gonna get through the problems together. My music is very relatable to everyone and everyone’s struggles. Ghetto gospel.” Mr. Hoodfigure makes an impact in the music business in his hometown of Houston, Texas.

Working on On my new Ep called ‘Natural’ dropping on January 20.
Who are the most influential people in your life?
The most influential people in my life I have to say my father. He has taught me how to be my own man and not looking for handouts from other people and to go get my own and I can do whatever if I put my mind to it. My musical inspiration are Lil Boosie, Master P, 2 Pac, DJ Srew / SUC , and Nipsey Hussle.
Mr. Hoodfigure is getting more popular in multiple cities, including in Dalla, Texas. Mr. Hoodfigure, the popular Houston artist is not one to give up and keeps his goals very broad. “Just being totally independent is an obstacle within itself. But marketing has been my biggest obstacle thus far. I’ve had to learn how to market myself and build my own buzz.”His goal is to keep moving ahead and to create something meaningful with his music. Mr. Hoodfigure makes a difference in the music industry by putting in the hours of effort, enthusiasm, and motivation.
Mr. Hoodfigure went on to remark that his passion for music will always be a driving force in his life and that important persons in his life had a significant effect on his career. He says that his own passion and inspiration has gotten him where he is today. Mr. Hoodfigure views himself as an ambitious artist who has become more of an inspiration and a go-getter to others because of his work ethic and determination.
“I’ve just learned overtime while I was in the streets heavy that I need to separate the two. The streets and music never mixed. It was either one or the other. So putting my all into my music was the best way for me to overcome all my struggles and just focusing on being the best man I can be for my family and fans and the kids in my community, who look up to me.” Others look up to him. The emphasis of Mr. Hoodfigure’s concentration is now on continuing to pursue his musical profession in order to build his already strong foundation even further than it is already. Mr. Hoodfigure has his sights set on the prize and realizes that in order to be successful, one must not only invest in oneself, but also in those who will invest in you in exchange for their efforts on his behalf.
