We’re very excited to welcome our guest for interview.
Sarah in an influencer who lives in Wales in the UK. This week, We got to ask her some questions.
Can you tell me a little bit about how you got started as an influencer?
I’ve had my instagram account for years. I just used to post random food pictures and my outfits. Over time my followers grew, and when I saw an ad looking for influencers, I just went for it.
Could you tell us which website you used?
It’s called social cat, it’s such a great platform. They’ve given me so many opportunities. I highly recommend looking them up.
Can you talk a little bit about the types of brands that approach you?
I’m mainly approached by fashion and jewellery brands.
Any advice you would like to give to budding social media influencers?
Keep posting on your page and networking.
If you could change something about YouTube or Social media, what would it be?
It would definitely be what content is allowed to be posted. There should be better checks on what gets put up. Somethings can be damaging.
What do you do about nasty or negative commenters?
Luckily, I haven’t experienced too much of this, my followers are really nice. I’ve had some in the past but I just ignore them.
Do you have any favourite videos that you’ve uploaded?
My favourite instagram reel has to be the ghost challenge one I made with my friend, Rebecca. We had so much fun making it, even more fun watching the footage back.
What is the best piece of advice you could give a newbie?
Keep doing what you love and don’t let others make you feel stupid.
Apart from influencing, what else do you do?
I’ve been in a few music videos, and appeared as an extra but my main focus is to get into acting and producing. I’m also launching a children’s story book series on Youtube at the end of the month. It will be available in English and Welsh. Also have some new projects coming up this year.
Would you like to go through some of your tattoos with us?
I have a rose on my neck, my eldest sons name on my shoulder, a crown on my back, the hand tattoo, and a few more.
Do you ever regret getting them?
Only recently with the hands and neck ones, now it’s affecting the work I want.
Favorite TV show?
At the moment, it has to be Emily in Paris.
