Norah Shazad is the owner of a clothing brand named Azure Co. It is composed mainly of streetwear clothing. She is an ambitious, determined, and organized in the efforts that has been led out through the brand. Norah is just an overall talented artist. As a business owner and author, she has had numerous projects that have caught the eye of others. She remains consistent on her projects through the brand, and is always having new ideas with her work. Norah explains what motivates her in her life.
“My ambition for being successful in the future is definitely what inspires and motivates me to keep going. It is really cool to go out in public and see people I don’t even know wearing my clothing brand, just because they genuinely like the quality and the design. Overall support whether it be a sale, a share, or even just a comment really keeps me going as well.”
Norah is now putting in a lot of effort to display her skills, with the expectation that she would one day achieve the highest level of success. She is on the right path to do so. Norah speaks of her current projects and what she has planned. “I am the owner of a clothing brand named Azure Co. It is composed mainly of streetwear and I am currently working on dropping more products and getting my brand out there. I have 196z sweatpants and shirt in progress, tributing my father. I also am planning on dropping a “let me be your light” graphic tee soon as well. I am also the author of two poetry books named Scarlet Rose and Growth and Caged Thorns. I am currently working on getting my third book, Sparked Flame, published soon.” Her goals and the reasons she pursues them set her up for success in all she undertakes.
How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?
My father passed away when I was young and since then I knew I always wanted to live through his legacy and make him proud. Within the clothing industry, just as any business, you have plenty of ups and downs but you just have to keep going. There were many years of constant pushing myself to keep going with life and responsibilities even though I did not want to, but I’m glad I did because I’m very grateful for my position now.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
Some obstacles that I have had to overcome are keeping up with the market, planning ahead, and most importantly cash flow. A lot of my ideas in the past had not come to fruition because it is expensive to buy bulk and drop products especially as a college student, but with time and determination everything has really worked out.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
My family is definitely who inspires me and brings me from an entrepreneurial background because everyone in my family has had a business either at one point in time or currently still does, and it inspired me to really have my own.
Not only is Norah an experienced business owner, but she is also an author who has a great deal of knowledge. She hopes that with the force of her work, she will be able to have a positive influence on the world and attain greater levels of success in her career. Norah puts in hours of hard work and makes it a commitment to find inspiration in everything around her. She concludes the interview by giving a piece of advice that she wants others to take back from her overall work.
“Consistency really is key. No matter if you have no support, financial issues, or other personal things going on, you must always remain consistent whether it’s dropping products or just posting pictures and putting your name out there.” As a necessary result of the effort she has put in, she will be in a position to strengthen the foundation that she has already established by building the additional elements on top of it and expanding the scope of those elements.
Norah Shazad from Azure Co. will be successful in achieving her goal because she never gives up, and in order to keep her position at the top, she can only see success in the years to come.
