Autumn Haley, also known as ‘Autumnxhaley’, is a notable songwriter and singer from Upstate in Buffalo, New York. She now resides in Dallas, Texas. As a diverse and unique artist, she has had numerous projects that have caught the eye of others. Autumnxhaley remains consistent on her journey, and is constantly improving. Known as open minded, intuitive, self aware with her work, Autumnxhaley explains the journey of her work. “I am currently working on my 3rd project titled M.D.M.A. This project is emotional yet wavy. It’s spiritual in a sense of tapping into deep emotions, and subconscious patterns and sensations. It’s music I would want to listen to while rolling with a love interest.” Autumnxhaley is now putting in a lot of effort to display her skills, one day to achieve the highest level of success. She is on the right path to do so.
Autumnxhaley speaks of her inspiration and what helps her get through rough times. “Right now I am inspired by other artists my age -well all ages really, doing their thing. Especially the underground/ up and coming artists. I feel inspired to keep working on my craft because there is a wave of individuals tapping into their creative power, and I want to be a part of that.” Her goals and the reasons she pursues them set her up for success in all she undertakes.
What piece of advice do you want others to take back from the work you display?
One piece of advice I’d want others to take away from the work I display is to always stay connected to your inner child. The part of you that creates and expresses who you are. Don’t let the world tell you how to be. Always express your mind and your heart.
What do you have coming up right now?
Right now I have a collaboration EP coming out with FreeFantasyverse, and I have my project releasing soon. I want people to know that I have some dope visuals dropping, and to watch out for more performances from me. I’m kind of just getting started. I’m fairly new to taking my artistry seriously. So we’re definitely just seeing the beginning of it all.
As a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, a lot of big-crowd events, like concerts and festivals, were banned in 2021 and some even in 2022. This was because of restrictions put in place by both the city and the federal government. As a result, the number of chances for artists to show off their skills has been dramatically cut down. However, Autumnxhaley remained steadfast through it all. “I have overcome certain struggles to get where I am now by doing what was scary and uncomfortable. Taking risks. I am nowhere where I want to be yet as an artist, but I did jump the gun and indulge in experiences that I never have before. For example, in 2020 I bought my first microphone and recording equipment. Ever since I have been working on my craft and learning to evolve as a creator. Recently I just performed at my first open mic, that was my first performance ever. So it’s things like that that are pushing me to overcome any fears and blockages.”
Autumnxhaley mentions within the interview that certain individuals in her life have inspired her to be great, starting from her own family. “The most influential people in my life are my peers. Fellow creators and free spirits. The people that unapologetically go for the life they want. Those people are influential in that they inspire me to keep creating and expressing myself.” Autumnxhaley will be successful in achieving her goal because she never gives up, and in order to keep her position at the top, she can only see success in the years to come.
