Kaiden Inthavong is a musical artist from Haltom City, Texas. He remains determined and genuine with his endeavors. Kaiden has maintained his commitment to excellence and the motivations of those around him. Kaiden discusses his future plans and the driving forces behind his perseverance. “Currently there are no projects that I'm actively working on, but a goal I have is to continue to level up my quality, my ability to punch and deliver on the mic. On the side, I'm dropping an EP this summer with a ‘soul’ genre, but I'm tapping into it every now and then, taking my time with all of my work is something my guy Yahir (SonOfKali) taught me coming into this game. Nothing can be rushed and I gotta be open minded, focused, and take my time with everything.”
Kaiden has been focused on his work and has maintained his consistency throughout the years by collaborating with a diverse range of people. “Know that I'm versatile, and I'll pop up and surprise everybody with impressive and catchy music nobody saw coming. It won't always be rap, but people will soon see that I'm more than just an energetic artist that likes to have fun. I got a lot of deep lyrics that I wanna share, and hopefully it will open up people's minds who are struggling and need answers through my music. I want everybody to know that they will see me placed on every screen years from now, despite all of the comments I'm getting today. I know I will have a placement that's unreachable to all of the people chasing for me.”
Known as being highly ambitious, optimistic, and an exuberant artist overall, Kaiden is now focusing on keeping up his motivating grind so that he may expand upon his present success and continue to serve as an inspiration to others. He offers guidance about some important aspects of his grind and his inspiration. “I really want to live a lifestyle of people looking up to me, I strive to be an icon in people's lives. These days, a lot of ways people cope is listening to music, and I hope my combination of my personality, and my music speaks to somebody's core in a way that I can hopefully change their mind about things they perceive as negative. I have a strong passion for music and I also wish to sell out arenas, big stadiums and a dream of putting my parents into their retirement as fast as possible. I gotta pay off their debt, and get them the things they want in regards to the sacrifices they have made for me to be in the position I am in today.” Kaiden constantly retains his focus on the end result, which he is aware is crucial if he wants to succeed. Kaiden has made the correct decision and remains steadfast.
Where are you from?
Born and raised in Haltom City, never moved or traveled too often outside of my hometown. Haltom City is a place I grew up in, I met several talented individuals who have impacted my life to a high caliber. All of my current partners and friends are living in this city today. Many influenced the character I am today, and I'm so proud to represent the man I am.
Give Three qualities that describe you:
1. Ambitious. I've always had a drive to get work done at a fast rate. Driven by discipline I've accomplished many goals at a remarkable level, you could ask any of my friends the same question, and they would all say I am ambitious, and hard working. I was also voted at Haltom High School, "MOST AMBITIOUS" for the Class of 2023.
2. Optimism. I've never given up hope on my passions, I've always been chipping away at some kind of work knowing I will get something out of it with a positive attitude. Coming out of the background I'm from, I've never ever had a single feeling on this journey like "I won't make it" or " I hope I get this." Not once have I had a feeling of negativity and I will always pop out of my city with robust confidence.
3. Exuberant. I've always been told that I bring out life in things. Bringing out positivity and love has been a trait I've been carrying since I was a kid, lots of excitement and character lives inside of my soul. I really believe I have the best characteristics that set me apart from everybody else since I'm never afraid to have fun. Bringing out joy in things everybody would dread, I'm that guy people can come to for a worthwhile outlook. I won The 2023 Haltom Band " KEEP THE SPIRIT" award this year. It displays traits and qualities that the people would want to be around, such as my energy, and well-being.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
That the people whom you thought were close to you, aren't actually as close to you as you think. People who I thought were my partners, my best friends happened to be people who didn't feel the same way about the way I felt about them. Before I truly started I had a ton of people in my circle. Today, not even half of the people at the beginning are here today, and I'm glad things happened the way it did because now I have people I can rely on for constructive advice in helping me succeed. To conclude, be prepared to leave your day ones to start your day one.
The diverse creative, Kaiden, explains more on the struggles he has overcome to be where he is at. Kaiden keeps going because he knows that his hardships have made him stronger. “I was watching my biggest inspiration today, Jack Harlow. He had an interview or something, it went like ‘Stay focused, you can have it all. You just have to stay focused and you can have it all, anything you want in the world is in your reach.’ I realized that everybody in this world is the same, the person reading this today versus the person I am is no different to I am. Everybody is born with a heart and a brain, what separates each other is our hunger, and our ambition to complete our goals. Our mindset.”
Motivation is not an issue for Kaiden, and he keeps a positive attitude no matter what he deals with. “Not everything you see and hear happened instantly. It's a lot of trial and error, a lot of patience and sacrifices are needed to level up everyday. Everybody knows this career isn't exactly easy, but it is a lifestyle that everybody wants to live. Over the years, like everybody I started on BandLab on my IPhone. I had these horrible raps with my apple earbuds that I thought was the best thing ever. I had to level up my quality so I invested and saved up 4,500 dollars and bought myself an entire studio setup I'm using to write this interview today..”
Kaiden went on to remark that his passion for music will always be a driving force in his life and that important persons in his life had a significant effect on his career. He says that his own passion and inspiration has gotten him where he is today with the inspiration of others. “The artist who is the most influential to me is undoubtedly, Jack Harlow. Jack Harlow is a true soul that inspires me to be the person I want to be, besides the appearance that I am portraying. My Dad and Mom also influence me to keep pushing for my dreams and I have all of their support. My guy Magz (Noe Avila) is my business partner for life, in creating this culture I have today. And I can't forget my 2 photographers, Jose Perez and Hunter Hunter. Jose Perez is my co-worker at my job. I was such a fan of his work, he produced all of my cover art, my profile picture, everything you see today is there. Hunter is my guy I went to highschool with, he helped mold the image I wanted early on when I would look at his portfolio of pictures, he has tons of pictures of me that I have posted everywhere too.”
Kaiden views himself as an ambitious artist who has become more of an inspiration and a go-getter to others because of his work ethic and determination. Others look up to him. The emphasis of Corta’s concentration is now on continuing to pursue his musical profession in order to build his already strong foundation even further than it is already. Kaiden has his sights set on the prize and realizes that in order to be successful, one must not only invest in oneself, but also in those who will invest in you in exchange for their efforts on his behalf.
