Interview With Rapper, JBLU3

MAY 2023- DALLAS, TEXAS-

D’Sean Sillemon, also known as ‘JBLU3’ is an artist from Dallas, Texas. JBLU3 is on his way to the top. The upcoming artist has already worked with a diverse range of sounds and has great intentions for the work he displays. He makes a difference in the business with his music skills. Known as chill, focused, and intelligent in his endeavors, the artist, JBLU3, comes from humble beginnings and has a youthful mind, body and spirit. He has major work coming up as an artist. “I have a couple of songs I’m dropping talking about my life and things I want others to hear to better themselves. And I explain to my siblings, mom and dad how it’s all going to be okay. I know where we come from. I have those couple songs that’s soon to be on my YouTube, JBLU3.”

Even though JBLU3 is devoted to perfecting the art of his craft to the highest level, his hardships have made him want to do even better in his business as well. JBLU3 is now focused on continuing to be the best in his city, so that he can build on his already strong foundation even more than it already is with his music with his latest work. “What is inspiring me right now to consistently work on my endeavors is my past and my siblings. I have overcome struggles by staying in the right mind, remembering what I do this for, staying to myself and observing. Some influential people in my life have been my Dad. He worked his ass off even though he was hurt and I was barely with him. He stayed strong which pushed me. And my mama. She went through hell and back. Me and my siblings went through it with her. Seeing that makes me stay strong for them knowing I will retire my people. They don’t got to worry.”

What are some obstacles have you had to overcome to get where you are?

We had no stable crib. Only the places my mama would take us to till she got right, or my dad till he was stable. But I couldn’t live with him. He doesn't understand my life. It was hard for us. Being the older sibling makes you work harder and you can’t show emotions because I want to stay strong for my siblings. I know I will make it.

JBLU3 ends  the interview with a piece of advice that others can take back from the work he is doing. “Be you, stay smart, love your life, and have something you stand on that keeps you going ” JBLU3 remains focused on his goals and has quality work every time he creates. An artist worth looking at. From the moves being made in the city, he aims high, and is constantly inspiring others throughout his journey.
