Myles has set his sights on accomplishing his dreams and his goals are only expanding. “Currently got the UpNextFestival coming up that ill be shooting content at. I’ll be doing film photos, video, and digital photography there. Mainly excited to get some film portraits of some of the artists.” With a bright future ahead, the passionate person, limitless, and dedicated with his work, is motivated in the way he goes about making content. Within photography, Myles focuses on event and showcase photography, and is also a hard worker. A perfectionist with his skills, consistent in his work ethic, and passionate about his results, Myles is well respected with the content he produces. “Quality and passion are more important than numbers and clout. Reject industry norms and rely on your own personal uniqueness, and focus on what you can share with others to impact them in a positive manner. People who get hot come and go, but timeless art is eternal.”

Where are you from?

Born in Ventura, California, shoutout 805. Been in DFW (The colony) since I was 4.

What is it creatively that you are working on?

In general, just trying to sharpen my sword, get into more studio content, working with building sets and creating a narrative behind photos and videos I shoot. Once I feel like my skills are where they need to be, ill move onto short films and all that.

What is inspiring you right now consistently to work on your endeavors?

Life experience. That’s where it all starts. Without experience, whatever you’re pumping out has no soul. I’m strict on that.

How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?

You just keep chuggin. I still struggle, and that’s what makes the process what it is. The struggle never stops, so you might as well do what you want, to get what you want.

Who were the most influential people in your life?

Stevie Ray Vaughan and J-Dilla. Can’t beat em.

As a result of the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2021, some artists had considerable difficulties in 2021 and 2022; varied laws established at the local and federal levels prevented a large number of events with large crowds, including concerts and festivals, from taking place. As a result, the number of chances for artists to demonstrate their abilities was drastically curtailed as a result of this decision, but not for Myles. The emphasis of Myles’ concentration is now on continuing to pursue his business profession in order to build his already strong foundation even further than it is already. He does not let the past struggles affect him and says he definitely learned. “You just keep chuggin. I still struggle, and that’s what makes the process what it is. The struggle never stops, so you might as well do what you want, to get what you want. Spending. Film is an expensive format. I now develop, and scan film myself to cut expenses and increase profit.”

Myles gives motivation and has his sights set on the prize. He realizes that in order to be successful, one must not only invest in oneself, but also in those who will invest in you in exchange for their efforts on his behalf. In the audience, he is motivated at the thought of making a difference not just in his neighborhood, but also in the rest of the community.
