Up and coming rapper, actor, songwriter, and model, ClearLanes, is from Arlington, Texas. He now resides in Dallas and stays devoted. He has worked hard on his craft for many years. He speaks more on it. “I am always working on new music, EP projects, but mainly single releases dropping monthly, or as often as I can. In my opinion as an indie artist it is easier to promote and for new listeners to consume one song at a time versus a full length project when starting out. I am also working on collaborations with multiple artists across the region. Also on the acting side I am working on new film projects that are planned to release this year.” ClearLanes is a well-rounded person who refuses to give up even when things don't go as planned. He wants to keep moving forward and use his work to do good things.
ClearLanes understands the importance of being faithful and steadfast on his journey and remains successful through his endeavors. Despite the ups and downs that life brings naturally, ClearLanes remains focused and honed on his craft. His personal connections have pushed him to be where he is at, and he continues to leave his mark amongst his clients and interactions. “What inspires me is the message and purpose behind what got me started making music which is to have a positive impact on people by making purpose filled music. I do not just make music for the sake of it, but use it as an outlet. I strive to treat this like a ministry and for listeners to grow from it spiritually and mentally. I create my music to minister, motivate, inspire, spread hope and for my listeners to know that they were put on earth for a reason. That God has a plan and purpose for their life. This is conscious / inspirational rap music but also to make music that is fun and something they can enjoy, working out, car rides, venues, or wherever life takes them. Not every song is the same and each plays a part in what I share.”
Faith-driven, focused, and grateful, ClearLanes, is currently concentrating on expanding upon his already solid base and making it even stronger. Successful individuals make investments in themselves as well as diversity in others who will assist them on their path to success. And ClearLanes is aware of this. “Biggest struggles early on was doubt, and lack of trust in God's timing. We live in such a fast paced, social media driven era that our flesh can naturally fall into the trap of wanting things instantly. A lot of personal development and sacrifice comes with pursuing our purpose. My faith in God and relying on his will and desires for my life have helped me overcome those internal battles and to keep me pushing forward. Every day is a fight and you must choose which voice you are going to listen to that day. Once I started embracing the process and removing negativity out of the picture things became clearer. If you solely focus on the destination and not the journey you will never enjoy the process of what you love to do.”
What do you have coming up right now that you want others to know about?
I have a few singles out now on all music platforms, "No Limits" and "Purpose" both music videos on my Youtube channel @clearlanes. I believe my rap style is unique and has its own lane to attract different generations of new and old school hip hop fans. A versatile flow keeping a modern day cadence but with a nostalgic feel. I believe my music is something most hiphop fans can appreciate and resonate with on some level. I have show dates coming and stay tuned for that on my website clearlanesmusic.com.
ClearLanes’s goal is to make people want to see more of him, which he has done already in the studio and on stage. By putting in the hours of work, commitment, and inspiration both in front of and behind the scenes in the year 2023, he makes a difference in the personal training business and the community. He talks about some aspects of the year that really made an impact in his life. “Understanding that it's more than just making the music itself, but the business aspect brings a whole different challenge. There are so many things that play a factor when pursuing a career in the music industry. The days of just being an artist are over. Fans want more than just dope music when it comes to their favorite artist and to reach a more personal level. Learning good business practice and what is asked of artists in the present time have helped my growth. The second thing is to not let negativity or hate derail you from what you are working to achieve. As you elevate people will root for you and some will not and that is okay. Be okay with everyone not liking or understanding you and focus on the ones who do.” He keeps a positive mind toward dropping his work and projects consistently. Hard Working, driven, and spiritual, ClearLanes remains humble through his journey.
Even though ClearLanes is devoted to perfecting the art of his business to the highest level, his hardships have made him want to do even better in his business as well. “Like I said earlier, music is just the platform or outlet. So it's the message for me. And that is that you don't have to figure life out on your own. Society has put this pressure on us that if our life does not look a certain way then we have failed or are behind and that is simply not true. Following God's will for your life I believe is the best decision one can make. Challenge yourself to be the best version of yourself, do not short change or underestimate your ability and do not quit. If it is in God's will your time will come in whatever you are seeking. Outside of that I just want to keep getting better at making music.”
