Musical artist, Dexterity, was born in New York City, raised in the DMV, and now has been residing in Los Angeles for the past six years. He has worked hard on his craft for many years. He has a lot of stuff coming up and new projects that have dropped. With great knowledge, and experience in his field, he remains more serious and dedicated to his work, and focused with each endeavor. A goal for Dexstarity has always been to keep grinding. He speaks more on it. “My most recent Song Insomnia Freestyle featuring Hollywood Marlayee Now Streaming everywhere. Really my focus is on ‘No Hooks N The Bay,’ dropping April 20th. It's a five-track EP.” Dexstarity is a well-rounded person who refuses to give up even when things don't go as planned. He wants to keep moving forward and use his work to do good things.
Dexstarity understands the importance of being faithful and steadfast on his journey and remains successful through his endeavors. Despite the ups and downs that life brings naturally, Dexstarity remains focused and honed on his craft. His personal connections have pushed him to be where he is at, and he continues to leave his mark amongst his clients and interactions. “Honestly, the hustle inspires me. Seeing others chase their dreams motivates me to keep grinding on mine. The energy from fans at live shows is another huge motivator. There's nothing like feeling that connection.”
Motivational, authentic, confident, Dexstarity, is currently concentrating on expanding upon his already solid base and making it even stronger. Successful individuals make investments in themselves as well as diversity in others who will assist them on their path to success. And Dexstarity is aware of this. “Rejection is a constant battle in this industry. You learn to develop thick skin and keep pushing forward. But the biggest struggle is self-doubt. It creeps in sometimes, but I surround myself with positive people who believe in me.”
Dexstarity’s goal is to make people want to see more of him, which he has done already in the studio and on stage. By putting in the hours of work, commitment, and inspiration both in front of and behind the scenes in the year 2024, he makes a difference in the personal training business and the community. He talks about some aspects of the year that really made an impact in his life. “Never lose sight of your passion. There will be challenges, but stay true to yourself and your sound. The hard work pays off eventually, trust me.” He keeps a positive mind toward dropping his work and projects consistently. Dexstarity remains humble through his journey.
Even though Dexstarity is devoted to perfecting the art of his business to the highest level, his hardships have made him want to do even better in his business as well. “Building a fanbase as an independent artist takes time and dedication. There's a lot of self-promotion, learning the business side of music, and wearing many hats at once.”
What do you have coming up right now that you want others to know about?
Super excited to drop "No Hooks N The Bay" with Hollywood Marlayee! We're also planning some dope visuals and live shows to come. We are having an Album Release party on 4/20 the day the project comes out in the Bay Area Stay tuned!

Who were the most influential people in your life?
My pops was a DJ back in the day, so music was always around. He definitely sparked my passion. Shout out to all the artists who paved the way. There are way too many to name. I pull from many genres and cultures. Their music inspires me to reach for greatness.
