Up and coming artist, Lundun Taylor, also known as ‘Cyfa Fix’ also ‘Bigg Cyfa’, stays devoted and has worked hard on his craft for many years. From the Dallas, Texas, Oak Cliff area to be exact, he has a lot of stuff coming up and new projects that have dropped. With great knowledge, and experience in his field, he remains more serious and dedicated to his work, and focused with each endeavor. A goal for Cyfa Fix has always been to keep grinding, especially after his project dropped. He speaks more on it. “I’m working on my first solo debut album titled ‘Finally’. I named it finally because I’m finally releasing an album. I’ve been at this for over 10 years, and I’m finally making it happen, with the help of the Suthern Cropz hiphop label and Jesse Del Queens, my producer. I have tons of music out already but this will be my first full length project. ‘Finally’. The majority of the album is produced by Jesse Del Queens, but I have a few tracks that will feature other producers. I know a lot of people in the industry, and I’m grateful for the connection.” Cyfa Fix is a well-rounded person who refuses to give up even when things don't go as planned. He wants to keep moving forward and use his work to do good things.
Cyfa Fix understands the importance of being faithful and steadfast on his journey and remains successful through his endeavors. Despite the ups and downs that life brings naturally, Cyfa Fix remains focused and honed on his craft. His personal connections have pushed him to be where he is at, and he continues to leave his mark amongst his clients and interactions. “Time. Time is the most valuable element in life other than your breath. I hate to waste time because following my dreams of becoming a full time music artist is very important to me. I won't stop until it happens. We now have a really good team, and we’re all working together to accomplish this.”
As an artist, Cyfa Fix is currently concentrating on expanding upon his already solid base and making it even stronger. A visionary, skilled, and prideful Cyfa Fix has caught others attention with his skills. “I’m a musician. I play the drums. My earlier years were spent playing drums at church, Fred Hammond, I worked with Erykah Badu. I became a rapper when I linked up with a local band called The Found. I became their front man, stirring up the crowd and rapping over hypertonic vibes. I love fashion. You will always find me dripping with new fashion. Fashion and hiphop go hand and hand.”
What piece of advice do you want others to take back from the work you display?
Doing it yourself, DYI, is a very trendy approach for just about anything you want to accomplish, but I’ve learned that building a team around you, and collectively attacking obstacles is the key. An artist who’s serious about their career will need a team so they can focus on being creative and sharpening their craft.
Cyfa Fix’s goal is to make people want to see more of him, which he has done already in the studio and on stage. By putting in the hours of work, commitment, and inspiration both in front of and behind the scenes in the year 2023, he makes a difference in the personal training business and the community.
