Hyppszn (pronounced Hype-season) also known as “Hypp” / “Mr two P’s no E” / “Szn” is a rap artist from the Dallas, Texas area pursuing his dreams. He is driven to be better and inspire others along the way from his work. Passionate, creative, and a determined since day one, Hyppszn has his goals prioritized. “Right now, I’m just working on releasing singles and dropping more music videos. I’m also looking for new ways to show creative content as in like music promotions and engagements with my audience and looking for ways to involve a relationship with my audience all at once while trying to grow as well. I’m born in Dallas but raised in Lancaster Tx.
What is inspiring you right now consistently to work on your endeavors?
Right now, seeing the artist that I work with like “Tre Ward” and “Sticky The Menace” growing and pushing to new limits especially from where I first seen them at the time to where there are now it’s pretty amazing and grateful to be a part of their experiences. Also challenging myself to try new methods or strategies when it comes to creating new music for myself or even hoping on other artist tracks.
What piece of advice you want others to take back from the work you display?
I would say stay dropping music but also have a game plan before you drop anything to know what direction you want your audience to see. I also want people who have any goals in life to remember “it’s better to live a life knowing that you tried and done it than living a life saying what if”.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles have you had to overcome to get where you are at?
I would say don’t be afraid to lose all your money or take L’s when it comes to the music business cause without those losses how can you overcome your mistakes.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
I would say my mom and stepdad. I believe the way they treat people help me become the person I am today and that’s to be respectful but also to handle myself well in the world cause the grass ain’t always green and I have to be ready to push through hard days to see better.
Hyppszn’s objective is to keep it honest and make a name for himself with his work. mentions that his consistency and collaboration with others has helped him achieve great things. The art of his job, his hardships have inspired him to strive for even greater achievement and his love for his family motivates him daily and gave him humble beginnings. “Honestly, I was going through a struggle where I had to question myself am I good enough to even been in the music business. It was an tuff moment for me at the time but I learned that a lot of artist go through these things and if you want to be in this game you have to push through those kind of things or it just gone take you out itself before it even begins and if you can’t do that then why you here cause it’s not for the weak. It took me a while to realize that but now I’m here and stronger than before. I also had deep and personal talks with some of my friends like Tre Ward, Sticky The Menace, Mike Dubb, Adam, Markdog415, DollaBillDub, Kealz, Adrianna Fever and my bro T Mack they all gave me some advice with also some tough love and I mentioned them because they would not let up on me cause they see the potential in me and I thank them for that.”
As a result of the outbreak of COVID-19, some artists had considerable difficulties in 2021; varied laws established at the local and federal levels prevented many events with large crowds, including concerts and festivals, from taking place. As a result, the number of chances for artists to demonstrate their abilities was drastically curtailed as a result of this decision. The emphasis of Hyppszn’s concentration is now on continuing to pursue his art and business profession in order to build his already strong foundation even further than it is already. Hyppszn has his sights set on the prize and realizes that in order to be successful, one must not only invest in oneself, but also in those who will invest in you in exchange for their efforts on his behalf. In the audience, he is motivated at the thought of making a difference not just in his endeavors, but also in the rest of the community.
