“Right now I am finishing my Debut Album, “Mobstar.” It is a project I put together with songs I have made in the last few months. Gee Pesos knows where his passion starts from and speaks more on his inspirations that keep him consistent. “I just got out of high school and I want to do more than sit around and get old. I need some money in my pocket. Mobstar will be dropping this month or next with 12-15 songs and a few features. I put a lot of effort into this album and I'm confident it's my best work yet. I haven't released anything like it, and I know that when the time comes it will put me in a better position.” Gee Pesos stays consistent and has been seen at shows performing his latest music.
Where are you from?
I moved to Denver from Moab, Utah in the fifth grade. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona.
How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?
Like everyone else, to get to my current state whether it is mental or physical I've gone through it. I think of the struggles as character development, they are vital.
What piece of advice do you want others to take back from the work you display?
There are seven billion people on earth. Somebody will get down with you. Do what the fuck you want to and you will find your people. if it is real, it will prosper.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
Trying to represent myself as an artist or business gets hard to balance with my personal life at times but it is just one of those things you just have to get better at dealing with. I just got out of school and I have 100 ways to hustle and 1000 ways to fall off. I'm just trying to do a lot at once.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
My OG.
Gee Pesos has his sights set on the prize despite dealing with hardships. “Trying to represent myself as an artist or business gets hard to balance with my personal life at times but it is just one of those things you just have to get better at dealing with. I just got out of school and I have 100 ways to hustle and 1000 ways to fall off. I'm just trying to do a lot at once.” Now, with his listeners, he is motivated by the thought of making a difference not just in this world and when he hits the stage to perform.
