“My new business NightLife Luxury Rentals. As we are focusing on delivering luxury car rentals at an affordable price so everyone can get a chance at driving their dream car in hopes to inspire others to dream more and chase after whatever dream they have. Some may ask but how will this inspire others? Simply by inspiring them to want to have that car someday. To inspire others to chase after bigger and greater things.”
What is it creatively that you are working on?
– Outside of personal training I recently founded Night Life Luxury Rentals with my partner Chris Robles where we specialize in car rentals.
– As a kid growing up I always had a passion for nice cars which had a big impact on me dreaming large and staying consistent on everything that I did because I knew that nice cars weren’t cheap… So I set my mind on being ambitious and chased after my dreams one day at a time. We started Night Life Rentals in the summer of 2022 with 1 car, a chevrolet corvette c8 stingray and as of today, only 3 months later we have added 2 more vehicles to the fleet having a total of 3 cars.
– The journey to both of my businesses has not been easy but the ride has been well worth it!
How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?
– My biggest struggle of my career has been the year of 2020. In that year I started very hot in action thinking it was going to be a GREAT year but then… COVID happened. Lets backtrack a little shall we? In 2020 I had been in business for going on two years. Business was going great. We were doing such a great job in having client transformations which led us to move into Downtown Dallas which was my goal since I started Alphastetic Competitors. I spent nearly 50k in all upfront costs moving facilities but I knew it would be worth it and was ready to make the move happen. We moved in January of 2020. The year started great. We had so much to bring to downtown and so many new clients until.
–The Covid outbreak began and we were forced to shut our doors for nearly 3 months! I remember freaking out and asking myself “Was this move really worth it right now at this moment!” I knew it was more than I could handle myself so I quickly turned to Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” And I had faith that God would guide me through it all. He Got me to be where I was and I knew he would not leave me nor forsake me now.
– During the pandemic I had close clients of mine begin calling me asking if we could continue training, many asked if I could train them at my house to continue the program which allowed me to keep a flow of my business to continue paying rent at my new facility and not have to apply for any loans nor go into any of my own savings. I knew at that moment God had heard my doubts and worries and was watching over me.
As a business owner, what are the some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
– I would say the biggest obstacles come from my previous statement of the year 2020 but another obstacle would have to be the beginning of my career when I was a full time student and working a full time job as a fitness director. I remember starting my days training clients as early as 4:00 am then rushing to class at 8:00 am then going back to work sometimes training clients until 12 am midnight making it back home to do homework and wind up sleeping 2-4 hours at most every night.
–I remember friends and family asking me how long I saw myself doing that for and I always responded “I’m not thinking about the time frame it’ll take me, I’m taking it 1 day at a time and enjoying the process” When you do things seeking the end result you will find yourself burning out. I chose the fitness business because I truly enjoy it and have a passion for what I do.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
– My parents played a big role, they got a divorce when I was a young boy and I remember telling myself “I can either turn to bad habits and ruin my life or I can keep my mind distracted with work and chasing after my dreams” The decision wasn’t hard especially after finding christ in my life and submitting my life to God. I am a man led by faith and walk with Christ.
– My wife has also been extremely influential in my life as I strive now to be the best man and husband to her as she has put up with so much. In the beginning of our relationship and even marriage I hardly gave her anytime as I was always working and my time was very reserved so I am forever grateful for the patience she has given me and the support she has always shown. I wouldn’t be anywhere near where I am today had it not been for my wife.
Angel Diaz explained that the motivation came from seeing the success of a client that he trained, just in a few months. “What has always inspired me is the life changing transformations that happen in my facility. It is amazing to see how much a person can change when they change their surroundings and start something positive for themselves and I have been lucky to be in a position to help others. What is also inspiring me so much right now is the new blessing that has come into mine and my lovely wife’s life which is our 6 month old daughter. She has shown us so much in such a short time and is the bundle of joy to our life.”
Angel Diaz explains that this was a major motivation in his life. “No business owner starts a business with all the answers. We all start and learn along the process. People ask me all the time “How did you do it?” The answer is I just showed up and stayed consistent on my work. I did what I loved and I still continue to do what I love. Do things out of love, find your passion because when you do you’ll never work a day in your life.”
Angel Diaz has successfully worked with many diverse individuals on different goals, and has only satisfied them. He has great customer relationship management and speaks on his endeavors coming up in the near future.
“At the moment I am continuing to work with my team at Alphastetics Gym. I founded Alphastetic Competitors back in 2015 and established it as a business in 2018 where I opened my first training studio. I started as a one man team as I was the only trainer and my wife would help me with the cleaning and operations of the gym. After being very consistent with my work and training a handful of clients helping them have amazing life changing transformations I decided it was time to grow my team to have an even bigger impact in my community. As of today we have trained and had 1,000+ client transformations and we continue to have the same vision that I built this company on, client life changes 1 client at a time and 1 day at a time.”
