LuKJ is an artist and creative from a small town called Marianna, in Arkansas. In the music business, LuKJ has set his eyes on the top, and is determined to reach there. Teachable, humble and selfless, LuKJ, has a strong goal: he wants to stay committed to his work while building a legacy. “Right now I am making music and shooting visuals.I have just dropped an EP titled ‘Planet Lu’. Although failure is common while traveling far from home, LuKJ, a successful artist who doesn't give up easily, isn't one to do that. He treats his working relationships seriously. His aspiration is to keep moving ahead and use his music to make a positive difference. He describes the struggles he has faced after his performance on the stages. “I want people to know that no matter where you come from or how you were raised you can still be a successful person all it takes is hard work and dedication.” LuKJ makes an impact in the industry.
What is inspiring you right now consistently to work on your endeavors?
Honestly just the way I love music and knowing that this could open doors to so much bigger things in life.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
I had to stop some bad habits, learn to manage and spend my money the correct way, never ever be scared to take a risk and because I’m so young. People tell me I have enough time to start over but I don’t like wasting time. Nothing is promised for example (tomorrow).
The Dallas-based artist LuKJ is becoming more well-known. LuKJ the artist never gives up and is quite clear about his aims and ambitions. “Being the eldest of three brothers, and being the man of the house, I have to show my brothers that in this life you can get through anything and make it anywhere you want. Hard times won’t last forever, and the struggling times are what makes success so beautiful.” His goal is to keep moving ahead and to create something meaningful with his music. LuKJ makes a difference in the music industry by putting in the hours of effort, enthusiasm, and motivation.
LuKJ continued by saying that his love of music would always be his motivation in life and that influential people in his life had a big impact on his career. He claims that his drive and motivation are what have brought him to where he is now.LuKJ sees himself as an ambitious artist who, because of his perseverance and work ethic, has more recently inspired and motivated others. “Before my father passed he influenced me a lot and before my Grandfather passed he was also a good influence in my life. I miss them both dearly.” Others look up to him.
The emphasis of LuKJ’s concentration is now on continuing to pursue his musical profession in order to build his already strong foundation even further than it is already. LuKJ has his sights set on the prize and realizes that in order to be successful, one must not only invest in oneself, but also in those who will invest in you in exchange for their efforts on his behalf.
