Interview With Artist, Zavior

Xavier Williams, also known as Zavior, is a singer, rapper, producer, and event organizer from the Monroe, Louisiana area now residing in Arlington, Texas.  Zavior is on a mission to make the best art no matter what location he is in. His goal in mind is to become more serious and dedicated to his work and proving others wrong by consistently working. Even though Zavior is devoted to perfecting the art of his music to the highest level, and is actively working hard on his craft. “I am throwing an event called the 00's BBQ Bash to promote my project ‘Zummer Jamz’. My goals are to open spaces across the country to bring awareness and help those with alexithymia, and to perform in front of thousands around the world.” Zavior is an accomplished mucisian and entrepreneur who refuses to give up even when things don't go as planned. Creative, hard working, goal-oriented, he wants to keep moving forward and use his music to do good things. Afterward, his goal is to make people want to see more of him, which he has done at open mic nights. By putting in the hours of work, commitment, and inspiration both in front of and behind the scenes in the year 2022, he makes a difference in the music business. Both in front of and behind the scenes.

How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?

A lot of research and just growing up. I'm 22 and soon to be 23. I've got plenty of family and other people who support me on my way to success.

As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?

For me it was finding out the business side of music. How to make sure I could support myself and a [future family] doing solely what I love. The other was finding a team to help me because I learned I can't do everything on my own.

Who were the most influential people in your life?

My parents are definitely a big influence on me. No matter what would happen they would continue to work hard and make sure that their family was good and healthy.

My grandad, he's taught me a few things about business. From there I researched a bunch of different ways to make sure the Generational wealth that I created was continued indefinitely.

My grandma, she's so fascinated with music. She pushes me to create even more music to try new sounds. Experience new things. Push the boundaries of my music to find my own sound.

Chief Rebel, A.Michael E. These two taught me quite a bit about reading music, making beats, and just creating my best work every time. They are definitely big inspirations for my music. There are many others I could name but that would take days.

Xavier Williams, is now focused on continuing to be an inspiration so that he can build on his already strong foundation even more than it already is. With all of us in the audience, he is excited about how excited we are about what he can do for the whole community. As a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, a lot of big-crowd events, like concerts and festivals, were banned in 2021. This was because of restrictions put in place by both the city and the federal government. As a result, the number of chances for artists to show off their skills was dramatically cut down in 2021. However now in 2022, Xavier Williams is fully focused and inspired. “I'm throwing an event on May 28th in Fort Worth at The Funktion 12-8pm. It'll be fun for all ages. We got Food, Live Performances,  Local Vendors ,Games and Raffles. I will also be releasing new music May 30th. Come out and enjoy a great time. You can do anything if you really want to. You just have to be willing to put the work in and don't let anyone tell you that your idea is bad or it won't work out.”
