Figure Trey is a musical artist originally from Fargo, North Dakota, who now resides in San Antonio, Texas. He stays determined and works hard on his craft with creating content and constantly dropping new music. His goals as an artist are being accomplished and he has become more serious and dedicated to his work. He breaks down some current projects he has on the line."I’m the only artist in the world to drop seven projects in four months. Right now, I'm working on a debut album called ‘CJ’ which is going to be really personal and a piece of art! Every song will have a visual and some kind of promotion to it! Going to be sick!” Figure Trey is a talented artist who refuses to give up even when things don't go as planned. He wants to keep moving forward and use his music to do good things for his fans and the community.
Figure Trey understands the importance of being faithful and steadfast on his journey. As an artist and content creator, Figure Trey is currently concentrating on expanding upon his already solid base and making it even stronger. He has developed a solid base that supports his music in and outside of Texas, and is constantly working on for the next project to drop. Figure Trey always gives the fans what they want. Give Three qualities that describe you:
Different because I’ve always grown up being different whether it was getting into trouble or just knowing at a young age that I had a gift to inspire through my authenticity, Versatile because just like my music I’m a man of many things! My current music and upcoming music is a play between a few different genres within Hip-Hop and outside of it, and lastly Chosen! Not too many people can say they feel like this is meant for them. I truly believe that 120%!
What do you have coming up right now that you want others to know about?
“King of the Countdown City” EP My 7th in 4 months! I have no clue when I’m dropping but most likely the Friday after August 25th.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
God, My Dad, My Mom, Stanley Umude, Jaxson Robinson, Jd Notae, Chris Lykes….My Wife KLove and out family. My brothers Will Delo Shai Lil Kai DJ Taz Deno Duvin Jay Watson Carlos Candelario. Rest in peace to Angel, Luwop, TK Fade, both of my grandmothers, and BTB savage. Musically, I would say Charles Hamilton, The Game, Mr. FYG and BTB Savage. Rest in Glory!
Even though Figure Trey is devoted to perfecting the art of his music to the highest level, his hardships have made him want to do even better in his business as well. “Everyday is an obstacle. We all are walking through the rain. I just choose to walk in the rain with joy. The biggest obstacle is yourself.”
Afterward, his goal is to make people want to see more of him, which he has done already in the studio, and on stage. By putting in the hours of work, commitment, and inspiration both in front of and behind the scenes in the year 2023, he makes a difference in the music business. His words of encouragement goes long ways and he ends the interview with a piece of advice. “Be yourself. This game is fake but authenticity wins 100% of the time! Hard work and consistency wins 100% of the time. Have faith in God without him nothing can be possible. Phil 3:14.”
